Spring School “The sustainable use of resources in marine-coastal areas” will be held at the University of Molise – Termoli, Italy, from 11th to 13th May 2022, under the project SMART ADRIA Blue Growth, funded through Interreg IPA CBC Italy-Albania-Montenegro. Spring School addresses private businesses, professionals (Italian and from abroad), associations and institutions dealing with the safeguard and the management of marine-coastal ecosystems, as well as students at various academic levels; the event envisages to strengthen the ability to organize and draft the proposals of new projects concerning the Blue Growth in view of the upcoming European calls.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn and apply new knowledge on various topics related to the blue and green economy, such as:
- Anthropic pressure in coastal areas and challenges of sustainable tourism
- Gastronomic heritage and local knowledge. Sustainability and best practices for the coastal territories
- Good practices to improve the environmental quality of marine-coastal territories
- Sustainable economy – shifting the focus from mere exploitation to sustainability and resilience
- Funding measures and programs Blue Growth, training for European calls
Registration is open for all interested individuals, including participants who may not be able to attend a spring school in person but are still interested in the online event.
Undergraduates, postgraduates and PhD students participating in the entire event (upon passing a final test) will obtain 2 ATC (Academic Training Credits).
