A space to explore and retrace some of the most significant contributions that emerged during the conference on the state of the art of the Blue Economy in the territories of the program area.
The in-depth flashes constitute a path that leads to the knowledge of the project objectives, of the applied research methods and of the case studies selected as best practices.
We start with the mapping study by IVANO DILEO, researcher at the University of Bari 'Aldo Moro' and external expert of ARTI Puglia, which applies the Quadruple helix model in the context of cooperation, and we continue with the speeches given by FLORENSA HAXHI, director general for development programs and program manager for regional economic area, Prime Minister's Office, on the potential of the Blue Economy in Albania, and by COSMO ALBERTINI, project manager for european projects of Unioncamere Puglia, on the health state of the Apulian companies operating in the sector.
We conclude with the two best practices implemented by Puglia on the sustainable use of macro and micro-algae: GIANLUCA BLEVE, researcher of the ISPA-CNR and DANILA CHIAPPERINI, co-founder of ApuliaKundi, focus on the strategic importance of the algae in the Blue economy, highlighting its low environmental impact and the countless areas of possible industrial applications, from the food field (novel-food), to pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, agricultural fertilizers, biofuels.
